It has been strange being at home for the last few days. Kind of surreal. I haven't really had a weekend off in about 6 months. Sundays were always family day. Church in the morning and hanging out with family in the afternoon or evening. I have missed it. I loved my job and I am kind of sad to be done, but on the other hand I am glad to try out new things, find a new job maybe something I haven't done in a while. Change can be good. I'm hoping I will be able to spend more time with family.

Today we got to spend some time with Justin's mom and dad as they just came home from Cancun. We went over for my birthday dinner (Chinese food!) and looked at pictures from their trip. Their pictures were amazing and it looks like they had an awesome time. The water was an unreal color of blue and the beach was beautiful white sand...and we got to shovel their driveway when they were gone! But seriously, it is nice to see parents going out and travelling the world after their kids are grown up and moved out of the house. They deserve it after all the trouble we put them through!

Sarah..you continuously surprise us (especially with what you are going through now). Here I thought all that we taught you (remember Dad nagging that there is "no need to shop on Sunday") and we have missed you both at the "family gatherings". That is an amazing pic of Doug and Barb....your turn will come. Don't forget you have already seen more (England) than a lot of us. Change is good (and sometimes great) as it makes you sit up and take notice and shows you what you can have or do (pray, listen to what God is asking you to do). Last night when I saw the paramedics in action with A. Mary I was thinking how good you would be at something like that; you are very calming and kind; fearless in some things....go for it! love you, Mom
Yes a new season for you. You probably needed it to be taken away from you to really miss it. Your Sundays were used for a necessary work though and still proud of that work.
Yeah I am with your Mom on the paramedic thing. I think you are going to be most excellent.
Yes and that could be Justin and you on the beach celebrating a honeymoon. Get under the umbrella kid. Oh yes and yahoo to Barb and Doug for all those years of marriage!!! They sure look happy.
